Ryan McLaughlin is a Canadian author of science fiction, thrillers, and speculative fiction. His stories focus on ordinary people dealing with technology that has become anything but ordinary, blending mystery, crime, horror, and dark humour along the way.

His work explores the messy intersection between people and technology, and what happens when the systems built to make life easier start creating problems of their own. 

When he isn't writing, Ryan is usually behind a drum kit, playing disc golf, running one of several questionable business ideas, or spending time with his family in Northern Ontario.

He publishes independently through Stray Current Press.
