Seventeen-year-old Tavian wants one thing: to prove he belongs.

His chance comes when his crew sets its sights on the Black Crown, a massive BEDLAM Industries tower looming over the decaying city of Urbine. The job should be simple: get inside, steal whatever data BEDLAM is hiding, and get out.

But the higher they climb, the less the tower makes sense.

Empty floors. Abandoned systems. Technology that shouldn’t exist.

And something inside the Black Crown knows Tavian is there.
